Needle felted Christmas tree decorations

Description

Join us for this festive needle felting workshop perfect if you're new to 3D needle felting with wool. We will be making fun and colourful decorated little Christmas trees or self standing house decorations. Lots of lovely colours of wools and other fibres all available. Decorate with yarns, threads, sparkly fibres and beads all supplied. Festive nibbles and hot drinks included.

- Hot drinks and festive snacks. - Suitable for all especially beginners. Groups welcome. - Children over 12 welcome accompanied by a parent/guardian. - All materials included. The workshop is held in Josephine's studio in Fletchers Mill in Dean Clough Halifax, West Yorkshire. Good public transport. Free car park. Come for a day out, at Dean Clough maybe get some food, several eateries on site, see the galleries maybe a bit of Christmas shopping.

Message the tutor

I'm Josephine a fibre and mixed media artist and tutor with over 20 years experience of all aspects of wet and dry (needle) felt-making I have my own studio as part of an artists community in Fletchers Mill, Dean Clough in Halifax, West Yorkshire. I run a wide choice of fun, relaxing felt making and needle felting workshops using a vast colourful selection of materials. I also run the courses at other venues. I can set up bespoke courses for friends and families do get in touch to discuss the options. In the past I have been a designer and lecturer. Several years as a community artist. I have delivered and managed celebratory and public arts projects creating textile wall hangings, costumes, murals, lanterns parades, mosaics within Schools, and the wider community.
