HARE - NEEDLE FELTING. * Please note - this class is run over 3 consecutive days - Thursday, Friday & Saturday. With Cecily Kate from Art Felt Fibres. Join us and discover how to needle felt a gorgeous hare. Suitable for those with some level of experience. This three morning workshop is set within the idyllic rural location of The Oast Studio where you will be treated with organic teas, freshly brewed coffee and delicious baked cake. Master Felter Cecily Kate will guide you every step of the way. This course is perfect for improvers and intermediate needle felters. During this workshop you will learn: - How to measure and twist wire into a sturdy well-proportioned armature. - How to wrap the armature with wool, build up the features and shape the body. - How to blend and grade the colours of your wool fibres to create a beautiful layered fur effect. - How to felt the hare's distinctive ears. - How to bring out the character of your hare and make its eyes come alive using wool alone. - How to needle felt all the elements together while gaining loads of tips and tricks along the way.
