About the Course
Calming your mind & restoring your energy, nourishing your body and spirit enjoying woodland walks and maybe even a dip in the river!
Absolutely no experience necessary, just a willingness to let go of your troubles, fears, worries and anxieties.
Forest Bathing originated in Japan and scientific studies show that taking time out in nature, slowing down and re connecting with its therapeutic power boosts the immune system, increases energy, lowers blood pressure, aids sleep, reduces stress and anxiety and can alleviate depression. Trees and plants release phytoncides that boost our immune system.
We will take a very slow walk through the forest savouring the sounds, sights and smells and weave in to this wonderful experience beautiful Dru Yoga sequences that relax the body and calm the mind, finding a place of stillness within. The sequences are moving meditations deepening the whole forest experience. Included in the day will be tea, coffee drinks and a healthy lunch deep in the heart of the woods.

The day was much more relaxing and calming than I had expected. An experience for all the senses. Walking through the woods. Noticing the small things you never usually see...the raindrops sparkling on the leaves. The sounds and smells of the forest. The touch of soft moss on the trees. This was my first experience of outdoor yoga. Under the trees dappled in sunlight through the trees. By the river, and in an open field with only trees around you. A beautiful experience.
