At Cowshed Creative in the Lake District, we run an extensive range of jewellery, art, craft and heritage workshops in our beautifully converted art studio.
JOIN US for a splash of colour in this exciting and playful process. No experience needed, just enjoy experimenting with felt pens, stamps, paint brushes, inks and dyes to transform aluminium with beautiful colours and patterns. In the afternoon you will learn how to create jewellery from some of your patterned metal and take home earrings, bangles, or pendants. Special measures will be in place to help keep you safe.
Heather Fox spent four years at North Wales School of Art studying for a degree in Jewellery and Metal Work. Whilst at college, she set up her own Silver Jewellery business in 2007. Heather has exhibited her jewellery in a wide range of galleries and prestigious craft fairs, as well as selling on-line. She has many years experience running workshops and evening classes.
This workshop will be at Cowshed Creative, based in a converted Lakeland barn on our traditional family Farm. The art studio is a stunning open plan space with plenty of room to wander outside and take inspiration from the amazing Lakeland landscape and environment of the peaceful Kentmere valley. From the fantastic and consistent feedback we have received, you are sure to have a great day!
All our tutors are carefully selected professionals and experts with extensive teaching experience. Whilst this is a relatively new venture, George, who has set up Cowshed Creative, has many years of experience programming and running creative courses at the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal and for Cumbria Adult Education.
