About the Course

IDC can deliver Level 1 City & Guilds Awards and Certificates.

This course is for a Level 1 Certificate in Hand Embroidery Techniques. You will learn how to embroider, make samples and develop heritage hand craft skills which are increasingly in demand. You will produce a sample book of your work. you will complete a unit on design , two units of projects , based on stitch techniques and texture , dyeing and block printing work

The Certificate includes 120 guided teaching hours.
