I would recommend the embroidery for beginners day with Rosemary for anyone wanting to learn the basic stitches and how to get started. The teaching is clear and thorough, and tailored to your needs. I spent a very pleasant time with lots of beautiful examples to inspire too.
Had a lovely day with Rosemary on the embroidery course. Learnt lots of difference stitches and got plenty of practice with each. I already cross stitch but still learnt a better way of doing French knots than I already knew. I would highly recommend for anyone wanting to try embroidery to spend the day with Rosemary.
What a truly lovely day spent learning and conversing with Rosemary. She has given me the confidence to try new stitches and get going with the projects I’ve been wanting to do. I would thoroughly recommend anyone spend the day doing this delightful course.
I thoroughly enjoyed this course.
Rosemary explains each stitch in detail and ensured that I could do each one before moving on to the next.
Her passion for the craft and her expertise is inspiring.
I learned a new skill that I would now like to continue and improve upon.
Thank you so much.
Response from Heritage Embroidery:Thank you Annette for such a splendid review I’m so glad you enjoyed your day. I really enjoyed your company and hope to see you again soon.
Thank you so much for yesterday, I enjoyed it so much, both the techniques and the excellent tuition and company.
Thanks again for your patience last week. I think it’s safe to say, it’s paid off. I’ve been rather busy! Never thought that even as an adult you can surprise yourself.
I enjoyed my day. It was good to be broken of some bad habits I had picked up as a child. And put some demons to bed!
I haven’t touched embroidery since school days except for a few french knots and blanket stitch on my felt Pied Piper last year. It was that which made me realise I enjoyed stitching but needed help and your course did just that.
I was delighted to see your work as well. I am keen to carry on stitching.
Just a quick word to say thank you for a most interesting day - and one where I learned a lot and refreshed my memory a lot!
Thank you for all your patience today, you taught me a lot. I enjoyed seeing your work too, which inspired me to get working :-)
I shall get stuck in to practicing all the stitches tomorrow, before I forget anything!
A pleasure to have met you
