Join us for a festive day of Christmas crafts! You'll create a decorative felt bird ornament, make your own Christmas tree bunting, and learn to paint candles. You will learn some simple embroidery techniques to make a decorative felt bird that can be used as a Christmas tree ornament or a pretty hanging accessory. This is mostly hand sewing and you can embellish with different stitches and beads to create a beautiful ornament. The Christmas tree bunting will be sewn on your machine (although if you don't have a sewing machine, you could hand sew one or two trees as an ornament). And you'll learn to paint candles with festive decorations for the holidays. Come along and try something new!

What's included in the price?

You do not need to bring anything, we will supply felt, embroidery thread, beads, cord, candles, paint and ribbon. You will get extra points for wearing a Christmas jumper though :-) ** We are a small charity devoted to getting people into craft. We aim to keep our workshop price as low as possible in order to make it as accessible as we can. We are always taking in donations of fabric and craft supplies, which we put towards future projects. So if you are clearing out your cupboards, please feel free to bring anything to the session that needs a new home. ** Children (10 years & up) are welcome at the session, but they must be accompanied by an adult (with a separate ticket). If you have any disabilities or support needs we will do our best to accommodate you. Please just drop us an email ahead of time to talk it through.
