Rushmere Farm’s beginners digital SLR camera workshop will guide and show you how to use your camera effectively by taking control of the most important camera settings when taking photographs. Understanding what camera settings to use and when is a fundamental step in improving the photos you take.
The day is a mixture of tutorials, practical demonstrations, and hands on practice with your own DSLR camera.

- transforming the technical into the creative with basic composition skills
Focusing on the main functions of your DSLR camera, the workshop will be giving you a good understanding of the basics of digital photography, and what is required to achieve great photography.
The course runs from 10 am to 4 pm and is suitable for beginners or those who a little rusty and wish to get back-to-basics and re-establish their camera skills.
Please bring your own DSLR camera and any lenses you may have, a fully charged up battery, memory card. Tripod is optional but not necessary. Notebook and pen. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for photographing outside the immediate area of the barn, which is set in a countryside farmyard environment.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
Hearty vegetarian lunches are provided, with tea, coffee and snacks available throughout the day.
