1-2-1 digital photography for beginners in Oxfordshire
Description
Have you just purchased a digital camera and want to work out how to use it properly? Maybe you're off on holiday and want to take better photographs of your trip? Or you have a new baby in the family and want to capture those special moments? Aimee can help you with all of this! The courses are designed on an individual basis, so that you reach your specific goal. They cover the equipment, camera settings, exposure (aperture, shutter speed and ISO) and composition, so you will always walk away knowing what the buttons on your camera do and how to create a good image. The courses are fully practical and take place in a pre-arranged location within Oxfordshire. If you have a specific genre interest (portrait, landscape, photography, night time, sports etc), then the course can include elements of this. The 1-2-1 courses are available on Sunday's only during term-time, Monday-Friday during school holidays. Aimee has been a professional photographer for over 17 years and has 12 years of teaching experience, alongside a teaching qualification (PGCE). She is incredibly knowledgeable in photography and can work her way around all camera brands. This course is suitable for DSLR's and Bridge cameras.
What's included in the price?
Please bring your digital camera with you and any other equipment you may have (though you are not expected to have anything other than a camera!). Aimee can bring additional equipment to try out based on your interests. As the course is 'out and about' refreshments and lunch are not provided, however there will be a stop for a lunch break of one hour at around 12.30pm. Please dress for all weathers (layers are suggested) and wear shoes suitable for walking. Don't pack too heavy though as you'll be carrying the equipment around with you all day!
