You will learn how to use Photoshop effectively to create ideas for textiles, sewing, stitching, embroidery and art but also for fashion and interiors. You will discover all the techniques you need to know using the full potential of Photoshop, your own photos, imagination and creativity. You can use this ecourse to create digital work or to inform your traditional methods of producing work. Unleash the possibilities. At the end of the ecourse you will be able to produce a body of work. An optional certificate is included. You also have access by email or facetime limited to 30 minutes per month for one year. This is a lifelong course, once you have done all the 36 tutorials - you can use them for the rest of your life to create unique and stunning art, textiles, surfaces for stitch. You will need a computer, camera, printer and a version of Photoshop - C5 is best but the course will work with other versions including Photoshop Elements.

Karen is a fully qualified and experienced teacher of mixed media and quilting, for groups and individuals of any age. She is a hands-on designer maker of textiles, knitwear and quilts. She has been knitting for over 50 years, designing knitwear for over 30 years. She has designed her own textiles for over 20 years. She began quilting less than 10 years ago but designs all her own quilt patterns. Karen has been a teacher for over 40 years. Holding an Honours degree in Spanish and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education, Karen develops unique e-courses in design, colour and texture.
