Description
This course runs on a Wednesday morning. Do you want to work on personal projects with the support of an experienced artist and qualified tutor? Get help and support with your own medium choice? Who is the course for: This course is suitable to all levels as you will work through simple tasks to explore the mediums you want to use! What will the course cover: During this 12 week course you will have the opportunity to work on your own project ideas to explore your different media choices. You will also be able to follow a tutor lead project through the 12 weeks of the course. During the course I will be on hand to demonstrate simple techniques with different media and give introductions to new media as requested. Please contact me for information about this terms project. You are welcome to follow the whole course or attend individual sessions to suit. Please contact me for a course schedule and individual session costs. What you will need
For the first session you will need: sketching pencil, paper and a rubber. For this course you could use: • Suitable paper or sketchbook for your chosen mediums. • Drawing media (this could include; graphite pencils, coloured pencils, wax crayons, oil pastels, chalk pastels, charcoal, drawing pens, felt-tip pens...etc.) • Paint media (any; watercolour, gouache, acrylic or coloured inks) • Brushes, pots, palette, kitchen roll Do not buy new materials as the idea is for you to use all the equipment you have at home already! You will also need suitable access to zoom online and to be able to view the session at your workstation or studio space.

Tricia has been an experienced and qualified arts tutor for the past 20 years. She studied Art & Design for three years in the Midlands before moving to the Sussex coast and gaining a Related Arts B.A. (Hons) Degree along with several teaching qualifications. Tricia is a working artist across an extensive variety of art and craft disciplines, who has exhibited at many venues across the South East, nationally and internationally, in addition to regularly teaching adult education and private courses in West Sussex.
