Description

Set in a beautiful tranquil 40 acre ancient Oak woodland, you will be welcomed with an open fire and a cup of tea. This is a two-day and one-night experience, a chance to leave the crowds and the noise behind and reconnect with nature. The course is aimed at people who want to relax and enjoy the beauty of the woodland and learn some new skills. This experience will give you a deeper experience of being in nature, take a dip in the river and enjoying the crystal clear night sky afforded us by our remote location on the foothills of Bodmin Moor, and enjoy the evening relaxing around the campfire. During the 2 days will be exploring a range of skills, including fire lighting techniques, campfire cooking, and knife craft, and learning how to put up a basha and hammock for you to sleep in, or if a hammock isn’t to your liking you can sleep on a camp bed. This course is designed to be family friendly, if you wish to bring very young children please let us know when booking. It takes place entirely in the outdoors, and if inclement weather is forecast, or develops, we have a tarpaulin and parachute set up if shelter is required. We also run a variety of other courses and programs . There are 1-day, 2-day options, as well as the opportunity to come an “Just Stay” and enjoy 40 acres of ancient woodland all to yourself. Speak to us about bespoke workshops . A family or friends group can book a day all to themselves. A booking of 4 or more will give you a 10% discount. Just contact us via 'Message the tutor' with preferred dates and we'll work with you to create your course.
