This course will take you through some basic skills in leathercraft including design, leather preparation, simple tooling decoration, riveting and closures, staining and painting and finishing. We will make a single, lightweight vambrace or arm-bracer which may lace up or be done up with buckles. For archers, the armbracer can be made with a double layer of leather on the inside of the arm for protection. The course is suitable for beginners.
