"Welcomed by tutor and time spent talking through options. Steps shown and guidance given. Able to work at own pace and to use our own ideas. Advice available at all times. Health and safety PPE available. Booking team did not inform attendees to book in and register numberplate. Tutor unsure when items jade would be ready for collection, as this was a Christmas craft perhaps a date late November would be better. Waiting now to be contacted when item ready but unsure who or how we are being contacted. Overall a good course and would attend another glass workshop."

We were lucky to have sunny weather, so the classroom in the Stanwick Lakes Visitor Centre, with its large windows gave us a lovely view outside. "Julian and I were bought this as a Christmas gift. We have done lots of other courses, including glassblowing, mosaics, and a range of other crafts. This was the best and most enjoyable course of them all! The small group (4 in total) was perfect to build a good rapport and to share the experience. The tutor was not only knowledgeable in so many areas, but he taught with sensitivity and real skill, getting to know our strengths and challenge areas, and working with us to overcome them and celebrate our successes. I was so proud of our work when we had finished and cannot recommend this day highly enough. The toasting fork is in pride of place beside our open fire!! Thank you for the lovely venue, great teaching, and excellent support. It was magical."
