"Absolutely loved this! We visited Sarah as part of my mum’s 60th birthday celebrations. There were 5 of us and we all really enjoyed learning about the process and making our own pieces - it was very therapeutic. "We attended the three in one glass experience day which was arranged as a birthday present for my mum’s 80th. We really enjoyed learning and trying out all three techniques and greatly appreciated Sarah’s patience and support throughout. It was fascinating to see how the enamel pieces were created and to be able to experiment with the different colours. We enjoyed a very delicious and relaxed lunch with Sarah and Chris. We are really pleased with all of our pieces which all came out well. I already have one of my pendants and been complimented on it. Thank you Sarah. "

"My partner and I did the whole day combined pottery and glass course and had a fantastic time. Sarah and Chris were wonderful at explaining a range of techniques using examples and modelling which gave us the confidence to get creative. The number of items you can make in the time given is great and we can’t wait to see the finished products! Lunch was fabulous and we appreciated the teas and coffees throughout the day! Would definitely recommend as a great day out with family or friends, or as a chance to pick up some new skills 😊"

"Took a friend with me to do the whole day taster sessions. Had a fantastic time doing all three of the activites on offer. Enamelling, stained glass and glass fusing - all went very well - probably need more practice as would like to try lots of different ideas and techniques. Made some pendants as presents and one for myself and a Christmas tree hanging decoration which I am looking forward to seeing how it turned out when I collect it soon. We were provided with a lovely lunch and Sarah was so welcoming and friendly. Can definitely recommend these activities. "

"Great experience, my sister has always wanted to try pottery, Chris has a friendly, positive and welcoming approach and lots of experience. "I was treated for Christmas to a fabulous half day course with Chris and Sarah. My first time ever, using a potter’s wheel and something I had always wanted to do- a bucket list experience ticked off! Combining the course with the glass making was a fantastic combination and J had a brilliant time. A relaxed atmosphere and great tuition - I definitely would do it again! "Went into both the classes with no idea of what to expect and came hooked on them both! For the Glass Fusion Sarah was very knowledgeable and encouraging and the well stocked studio opened up a myriad of possibilities, even for a novice. Chris is not only a great potter, but has the patience to pass on his knowledge and with his guidance gave me self believe that I too could tame a lump of clay! Can’t wait to see my fired efforts in both crafts. Definitely worthwhile. Can highly recommend both courses. "

"Absolutely brilliant Afternoon spent with Sarah on a Stained Glass combined with a Glass Fusion course. We came away with some lovely items we had made with instruction and guidance from Sarah who is a very patient and knowledgeable teacher. All being over 60, and never too old to learn something new. Would well recommend any of the courses on offer. We will be booking the enamelling course next."

"We (3 of us) did the glass fusing taster session on a rainy horrible day, it was warm and cosy in Sarah’s workshop. We had great fun with lots of different materials to create our pieces with. Sarah was very knowledgeable and helpful when we didn’t quite know what we were doing. We had a great time and would recommend this session to anyone. "

"This was the best craft course we have ever done! We took part as a family of three with a teenager. We have tried several things before but never glass, so we thought the three element course would suit us well. Everything was perfect. Sarah communicated well before the day so that we fully understood where to park. We were met with a coffee and we made our way to the delightful workshop. Sarah is an excellent teacher (and I say that as a professional educator of adults myself). She explains things perfectly, gently points out if you are going off track, allows you full freedom to design your own pieces and is there to help whenever you need her. The equipment is excellent and the range of materials is outstanding. Unlike on some other craft courses, Sarah is generous with the materials and provides silver or copper findings for the jewellery. I love how Sarah let us do all the steps ourselves including putting things in and out of the kiln. In the middle of the day we stopped for an absolutely delectable lunch. This was ploughman’s style including lovely carved ham, cheeses, pate, salad, breads and tray cakes. Throughout the rest of the day, coffee, tea and cordial is frequently offered. The atmosphere was easy going but safety was a priority at all times. We came away relaxed having had a lovely day as a family and fully intending to return to do the pottery day next time. Thank you Sarah for a lovely day! "
