The classes are small so you don't spend time waiting for Sarah's advice and she is an excellent teacher. "I thoroughly enjoyed my day under Sarah's guidance. She made us feel very welcome and the space was perfect for facilitating a small group. I took a Parker Knoll arm chair to the class and it was my first experience of re-upholstery so quite a big challenge! However, Sarah's teaching was individualised and she was very helpful in all aspects. I look forward to booking more sessions in the future!"

"I did the one-day taster course with Sarah and thoroughly enjoyed it. I brought in a dining chair to recover and Sarah took me through the whole process from stripping down to building up the layers to the finished product. The class was a mix of experience so I could see the more advanced techniques that other students were using. Sarah was always on hand to show you the next step so no long waits while she was with another student. I'll be looking to do further training with Sarah in the near future."

"This is a very great workshop if you’re interested in learning how to make a traditional lampshade. I have completed my first ever shade and I couldn’t be more proud of how it turned out. Prior to the workshop, I had zero sewing skills and never used a sewing machine before. Sarah was so patient and kindly taught me how to do both. I was a new student in the class, the rest were returning students which was a good sign. It was such a very pleasant weekend. I learnt so much. Time went past so quickly. Now I’m looking forward to doing more classes with Sarah. I couldn’t recommend this class enough. If you’re looking for a traditional lampshade making class. This is the one."
