"I had a very enjoyable day revisiting lino printing, learning about different types of lino, tools and inks. Liz is an excellent tutor, well organised, knowledgeable and helpful. With course members limited to 3 we had lots of individual attention and we all worked on our own projects once the basics had been covered. I came away with a folder full of prints and the enthusiasm to do more. The Slipper Studio is a great place to work in with excellent facilities and we were well supplied with refreshments throughout the day. This is the second course I have taken with Liz and I will be booking more."

"We had a fantastic day. Learned some great new skills and techniques that I am keen to continue to work with at home. Liz was the perfect tutor and host. She demonstrated the methodology in bite-sized chunks that were easy to assimilate and was always on hand with advice and helpful tips. "We were warmly welcomed by Liz to this beautiful and calming studio. I loved starting the day with a summary of lino printing and its place in art history. The workshop was thoroughly enjoyable and very well organised with lovely spaces to work in. Liz was keen to ensure that participants were fulfilled in what they achieved throughout the day. An excellent teacher and facilitator with a warm friendly manner, nothing is too much trouble for Liz. At the end of the day I left feeling inspired to create! I will be back. "

"An enjoyable day with Liz, re-learning the art of Linocut, last practiced 50 years ago. The Slipper Studio is a light, airy and informal workplace, and Liz an excellent tutor encouraging you to go beyond any self imposed limitations, but with an eye on time, progress and leaving with decent prints. It was pleasant to share the Course with another participant, and Liz kept us topped up with tea, coffee and chocolate biscuits. I recommend this course highly to those thinking of giving linocut a go. "

"I can highly recommend geli printing with Liz. She was welcoming, very knowledgeable and supportive throughout the day. The course is thoughtfully structured with demonstrations and tips interspersed with practice time. A beautiful goodie bag to take home with your work is the icing on the cake. Slipper Studio is a fabulous venue, cosy due to the log burner and very inspiring with Liz's beautiful work on show. And with the added benefits of a studio cat, pristine facilities and chocolate biscuits, what more could you need. I can't wait to return for more."
