"Second time I have made things with Ros, she is a fantastic teacher full of hints and tips and more than happy to spend time helping and advising, both myself and the friends who have done this course are planning another session! We love the fact Ros is so helpful and are very pleased with the items that we made, I can't wait to see the fired items from the last session and am really looking forward to the next time, have loads of ideas of what I would like to do (most came from Ros). A very relaxing and rewarding experience."

"What a fantastic day - I loved it! I had never done any sort of glass fusing previously so was a bit apprehensive. I didn’t need to be. Ros was so welcoming, supportive and explained things so clearly. Nothing was too much trouble for her. By the end of the day I was cutting glass with ease and felt as though I had learned such a lot. To top it all I made a beautiful glass coral bowl which I am really proud of. Thank you Ros. I will be back for more!"

Art of Glass Studio Ltd responded:

"Thank you so much Mary. I am thrilled you really enjoyed making your coral bowl. The colours you chose were fabulous. Very much look forward to seeing you again later in the year. Kind regards, Ros - Art of Glass"

"I was given a voucher as a Birthday present as I have a real interest in glass making. I turned up at Art of Glass not knowing really what to expect. Ros was so welcoming and her knowledge and ability to teach a complete novice like myself was brilliant. I am so pleased that I have been able to have this experience and would highly recommend it. In the time, I was able to make a coral bowl and a coaster. Thank you Ros."

Art of Glass Studio Ltd responded:

"Thank you Chris for your kind review. Look forward to seeing you again in the future. Kind regards Ros - Art of Glass"

"I took my 2 grandchildren of 10 & 12 years along and I wanted to have a go myself. As there was only one other child at the session I was able to try it out too. It was brilliant. Because it didn't involve cutting, but using a whole range of colours and shapes and sizes of glass it wasn't too stressful, and you could play around with shapes, colours and designs. We all thoroughly enjoyed it, and would go again. It was also very reasonably priced."

Art of Glass Studio Ltd responded:

"Thank you Liz for your wonderful review. I am so glad you all had a great time. Look forward to sering you all again in the future. Kind regards, Ros - Art of Glass"

"I was looking for a glass crafting activity for a reasonable price and came across this glass fusion experience online. I contacted Ros who responded very promptly and arranged a session for myself and my teenage boy. I had never done glass fusion before and it was great fun and even my teenage boy was kept incredibly entertained, with his imagination in full force especially after finding a glass piece the shape of a mustache (a child's imagination is amazing!). Ros was really friendly and accommodating, and guided us whenever we needed assistance. I would definitely recommend this experience as it is great value for money, very friendly and helpful atmosphere, great fun and you get a wonderful product at the end."

"I would strongly recommend this course, which I did in December 2016. I had previously done traditional leading courses, but glass fusing was new to me. I learned such a lot in one day, Ros was an excellent teacher- she explained the whole process very clearly and I spent time carefully choosing what to make and what colours to use and by the end of the afternoon my coasters and dish were put in the kiln for firing, then posted on to me a few days later. Altogether a thoroughly enjoyable day and I look forward to doing a more advanced course in her new studio this year."

Zoe Watts reviewed: Stained glass copperfoiling - beginners course - Witney, Oxfordshire

"The workshop was a gift from my brother. We both attended and made our own individual pieces. He designed his own holly leaf wreath and I designed a square mirror. We gave Ros a rough idea in advance what we've like to create and the colours and she had these colours available to view when deciding on final piece. Ros was both patient and supportive with us both, and offered assistance without taking over our work. Our session over ran, this did not bother us as we were just eager to finish our pieces and take them home to show them off. My hobbies are craft based. This was so much different but lovely to learn a new skill. I'd like to return one day maybe once I have my own house to create a unique piece. I would highly recommend Ros, she has all the time in the world to support you from beginning to end. A long but thoroughly enjoyable day. Thank you"

Caroline Powell reviewed: Fused glass - make a coral bowl

"I really enjoyed this course. Ros was very friendly and approachable. She went out of her way to ensure that I got as much out of my 3 hours as possible. She was excellent at teaching and I never felt rushed. I loved the one to one experience. I learnt so much about glass cutting, how to develope a design, types of glass, and glass grinding. I couldn't believe how quickly the time went. I came away having made a lovely moose Christmas decoration. I really recommend this course and intend to come back to learn more. Nice coffee and mince pies too! Thank you Caroline"

Julia Bryant reviewed: Stained glass copperfoiling - beginners course - Witney, Oxfordshire

"Attended this course for my 40th birthday as a present from my husband which was arranged at very short notice, but Roz was very accommodating. I learnt how to cut glass, straight and curvy lines and we discussed what I was going to make after showing me some designs. I decided I would like to make a window panel landscape and she showed me the glass in sheets in the colours I wanted. We designed a simple landscape pattern together and as this was going to be in a window I chose see through glass. The copperfoiling was fiddly, but soon got the hang of it and loved the look of it before soldering when it was pinned to a board. I then soldered it and wow I am so pleased I did this. I cannot draw or paint, but this has come out beautiful. Roz said she'd put a photo on her facebook page soon. I did run over time, but she did not rush me at all. I enjoyed all aspects of the course and was amazed by the different types of glass you can buy such pretty glass. I would totally recommended Roz as a friendly and approachable tutor who showed me clearly what to do. Loved the cookies too Roz as I ate most of them. Thank you."

"We have done two classes with Ros and enjoyed every minute. I can do stained glass and it's really nice to see a different side to glass. Ros is a very good teacher and tells you all you need to know. You then get to take home, after the glass has been fused, a very good piece of art. Would recomend, a very good way to spend the afternoon."

"We would recommend this course for both those who just want to have a go at glass fusing for fun and to those who want to progress further in the craft. Ros, the tutor, is very experienced in her craft and is an excellent tutor. She explains from the start that dealing with glass can be quite challenging and safety is very important. She will tailor the course to your requirements and guides you through the whole process allowing you to experiment with your own ideas. We have been on two courses and will definitely be back for more. It's great fun and, beware, very addictive."

"I telephoned Ros to discuss running this course for my Mother who has Parkinson's disease and dementia, to see if this would be possible for her to do. She talked me through what would be required and what could be made and we decided to let my mother make something. She came to my Mother's house and brought all the materials required and various boxes of coloured glass pieces. She made a couple of suncatchers with Ros's assistance. She was very patient and understanding and helped my mother when she had difficulties. The items my mother made were taken back to Ros's studio and she delivered them about a week later. I was very pleased how this turned out for my Mother as she has little confidence in having a go at many things due to health reasons. I will definitely be arranging for my mother to do this again. Thank you so much Ros. My apologies I've put this on the right page now, but it was on the beginners' fused glass - sorry!"

"I booked the Art of glass studio for my son's 9th birthday party. It was such a brilliant party! The children were able to use glass and glass paints to make there own master piece ( which they all created beautiful work) Ros was a great host and very professional. They all designed 1 piece of glass and were given party bags at the end with a star shaped glass pieces for that extra special touch. My 9year old and his friends thought the party was great fun and would love to have another go."

"I did this course on 28.1.16, and it was taken by a lovely lady called Ros. The day started with some safety information, then started the fun part of deciding what to make. Ros was very friendly and I made a bowl, some coasters and several other things. Due to the long process of the firing and cooling, the items are posted or collected after a few days. Further courses can be arranged to do more advanced techniques can be arranged. I would recommend this course."
