"Really excellent course! April was a great tutor - really friendly and approachable. Course had clear teaching and a good structure with a small enough group that everyone had time to sort out anything they struggled with. All attendees had made a decent panel by the end of the course and went away understanding techniques. Really fun day, other half and I enjoyed it a lot. "

"Update 2023: I have done several further weekly stained glass courses this year, this time with Kate Billington tutor, on Friday afternoons, which is more convenient time wise for me. Each course has been a new creative project, and thanks to the supportive help and expert advice from Kate, my knowledge and skills have grown in both tiffany and leaded glass techniques. I also did the one-day "painting on glass" course run by Martin in Oct, 2023 and found it most stimulating and interesting, allowing me to learn the new technique of painting on glass to supplement my existing skills. All materials were supplied, steps in the process were explained clearly, and by end of the workshop I had several completed pieces that I was pleased with as starter pieces. "

"After recommendation from a friend I have just finished my second round of 10 week classes. The classes were an amazing place to learn new things and switch off from life for 2.5 hours. "Fantastic wreath making session with a great teacher and in a lovely environment. Rachel is knowledgeable, supportive, engaging and great to have a giggle with. She gives you small bursts of instruction as the session is going so not to overload you. It's great to know about the sustainability of what you are making, Rachel informs you about where all the locally sourced materials have come from. We were supplied with plenty of festive drinks and yummy homemade cakes. Such an enjoyable session and coming away with a unique product. Thank you, we will be back again. "

"Booked this one day course for my friend's 60th birthday treat for us both to try a craft we hadn't done before. We had a wonderful day, learning the basics of fused glass art with Helen in her home studio. We managed an amazing 7 separate pieces of art between us, all under Helen's gentle, patient and encouraging tuition. Eager to see how they all turn out after firing and we both want to do this again. If you are at all arty or crafty I would definitely recommend you give this a go."

"This course was amazing! Our tutor 'Lin' was friendly and knowledgeable - making every aspect a joy to learn! The hosts made you feel welcome from the beginning until the end of the day. Refreshments were available throughout with lunch and then mid-afternoon tea with homemade cake! I managed to come away with seven flowers which are nicely displayed on my kitchen windowsill! I'll definitely be booking another course at the idyllic Zantium Studios."

"My wife an I enjoyed the day. April was an excellent tutor and by the end of the day we had each produced a very good looking panel. The course gave us the confidence we hope and shall return to work with April to create a window fitting for our house that has many stained glass window from the 19th century. We are happy to recommend the course for anybody wishing to learn the skills to start working with stained glass and lead."
