"Very productive and enjoyable two days. Silviana was brilliant, spending time with everyone. She also made helpful suggestions about our projects throughout the course whilst allowing us to develop our ideas. After the H&S briefing we got straight into our projects resulting in an intensive two days. Well worth it."

"Thank you Matt for a fantastic day, you deliver something very unique and special. The class was fun, achievable and for myself very therapeutic. I really enjoyed the day and learnt some new skills along the way. Matt is a really nice guy and is a very patient teacher, who allows you to find your way but, is also there to help when required. A great day all in all, will definitely like to come again. "

Sylvy Hinton-Keenan reviewed: Box making for beginners

"Andrew is a lovely guy easy to talk to. If you’re looking for manual carpentry skills, phone him and have a chat before booking to see if the course is suitable for your needs. Most of the time is spent operating bench tools - band saw, routers and planer, but you do go away with a nice little jewellery box. ."

Lynne Jones reviewed: Make a Portrait in Mosaic Course

"6 week portrait course The portrait course was really helpful to me, I had excellent tuition from Debra but she also gave me freedom to create my own style for the portrait. The environment is inspiring as there are many other mosaic projects happening around her studio area, students are keen to share their work. Debra has a very calm, positive way of teaching and explaining, showing other materials or examples that make it easy to adapt for your piece of work."

Mill Hill Art Way responded:

"I'm really glad that you found the experience helpful so that you could translate the basic mosaic concepts to create such an evocative and unique portrait of your own!"

Peter Booker reviewed: Introduction to traditional stained glass (1 day) in Sheffield, South Yorkshire

"I attended Martins course in traditional stained glass making recently along with 7 colleagues associated with our local wood carving club. We were in for a treat, the course was extremely well organised and every every step of the way was explained in a simple and informative style. Martin spent time with each student to ensure that they understood and could carry out the processes safely and easily. We all went home with our personal project and it was unanimously declared a very successful, interesting and happy experience. Martin is a very competent tutor with a great sense of humour and I would thoroughly recommend anyone to try one of his courses."

Sue reviewed: One day stained glass classes by Le Breton Traditional

"Booked this course for my husband and returned with him, I had been before to learn copper-foil. This time we both learnt proper lead stained glass work. It was more involved but strangely very wonderful to learn and do. Matt was an ace tutor, he presented him subject well and with humour. The workshop was lovely and the howling wind and rain were kept outside whilst we beavered away. Everyone had their own workstation and there was a lovely selection of glass available. I did feel like a certain creature out of Lord of the Rings with some of the lovelier pieces of glass to hand. We have already fitted my piece into a door that we have, and my husband is looking for an extra special place to put his on show. Thanks for a wonderful course and if anyone is thinking of going on this course, I would whole-heartedly recommend it."
