JULIET & SEQUOIA - GLASTONBURY reviewed: Silver Jewellery Ring making workshop

"My Daughter and I were gifted the silver ring making workshops for our Birthday gifts. My Daughter did the Sea glass ring and I did a hammered chunky ring with a copper heart. Sarah is so friendly and welcoming, providing us with hot drinks and biccies. She has a wide knowledge of all the skills and techniques she shared with us. She has a vastly stocked workshop, with all the tools and gadgets you could need. We had a few laughs along the way, and really enjoyed making our bespoke pieces. So pleased with them. An enjoyable experience and addictive. Thank you so much - would highly recommend. She is also a talented artist and photographer. No end to this women's talents."

Audrey Jackson reviewed: Bangle Making Workshop For Beginners

"Yesterday my daughter and I made silver bangles, which we are delighted with! Liz Taylor is a brilliant teacher who makes you feel that you can do anything. She is kind, patient and encouraging. Even when you think all is lost because you’ve made a mess of things, she smiles and says “that’s all right - we can fix it.” Yesterday there were six of us, all making different designs, but she made time to help each one of us, and we all came away very happy with our various treasures. I can’t wait for the next course! Thank you Liz! "

Kane reviewed: One day MMA/MIG welding course

"A very informative and enjoyable day. The workshop is very well set up. The two instructors, David and Joe, are great guys who clearly know their subject extremely well. Very good course content with loads of time actually welding. I felt this course gave me what I need to get started welding simple projects for myself. However, they offer further courses to increase your skills as you progress, which I fully intend to sign up for. I would highly recommend this course to anyone with little or no previous experience of MMA and MIG welding. "

Allied Welding School responded:

"Hello Kane, thank you very much for you kind review, we always strive to give the service & value for money we would wish to receive ourselves. Kind regards David "

Jasmin reviewed: Half-day Saori Weaving Experience

"I loved this crafting experience, Nicola was a lovely teacher, very nurturing and encouraging. I loved how she described the philosophy behind Saori. The workshop ran for a good amount of time for a beginner although I can see how if you did it for longer you’d get into hypnotic rhythm of it. Also the technique is good for recovering perfectionists as it’s the imperfections that make the piece interesting. The setting was lovely too, lovely open room, calming music and a sleeping dog for ambiance. Thank you Nicola!"

Wayward Weaves responded:

"Thanks so much, Jasmine! I'm so glad you had such a good time. It was great to meet you and hope to see you again in the not too distant future!"

I thoroughly enjoyed my day and would highly recommend this to any friend or family member. An excellent gift! "

Tony reviewed: Pottery throwing sessions on the potter's wheel in Norfolk

"A very enjoyable couple of hours making pots. As an absolute beginner (I was given the voucher as a birthday present and thought it would be fun to try), Pat was very helpful and guided me through making a total of five pots, three of which I choose to keep as momentos. I now appreciate the skill involved in pottery. Thank you Pat for your patience and good humour, a memorable day."

Pat Southwood responded:

"Thank you for your kind review Tony, I am so pleased that you enjoyed yourself. Pat."
