"I had a fantastic day on this course. Rick is highly knowledgeable as well as very friendly and personable - and of course a very accomplished craftsman. He gave excellent, clear instruction throughout the day and broke each process down into manageable stages. I never felt like I was standing around listening to instruction for too long before I was able to have a go myself. He supplied a delicious cold lunch and I was able to make friends with his lovely dog Loui during the break which was definitely a bonus! I walked away with a couple of pieces that I'll be proud to use and display and a real enthusiasm for doing more wood turning! Thank you so much Rick."

"I joined Marianne at King John’s Nursery with my daughter. Not my first workshop with Marianne but, as always, I learned so much with her expert tuition and endless patience in just one day and left with a beautiful foraging basket and many new skills. It was my daughter’s first basket weaving workshop and she thoroughly enjoyed the day. She is obviously a natural as her basket was wonderful. We will both be back! "

"I completed the one-day intensive 1:1 TIG welding course with Allied Welding yesterday, and it was absolutely outstanding. The instructor was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in helping me understand the craft. The facilities were excellent — a proper, well-equipped workshop with people who clearly have years of real-world experience behind them. The whole experience exceeded anything I had imagined. I left feeling confident, supported, and inspired to keep developing my skills. I can highly recommend both the course and the team at Allied Welding. If you're considering learning TIG welding, this is the place to go."

"Had two fantastic days with Rach learning how to mix, colour, shape and use concrete on day one, and to create silicone moulds of any shape/texture and successfully cast pewter on day 2. 5 stars!!! Both days were fantastic. Rach is very encouraging and a great teacher, and I left buzzing on how to incorporate concrete and pewter with the wood, metal, resin and glass I already use. Thanks again!"

"The glass blowing is great fun. Chris makes it easy to follow his directions and steps in when needed. This was our 2nd visit and we will probably go again. There is also the added bonus of being on a working farm with a friendly and very knowledgeable farmer who is happy to explain and show you things. "

"Myself and a friend attended Sarah’s fused glass workshop on 19th December. We’d decided to do something together rather than exchange Christmas gifts and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Sarah’s welcome was warm and her home was cosy. Sarah taught with patience and her calm manner left us feeling very comfortable and at ease. All tools and ‘ingredients’ were displayed well and we were encouraged to try anything we wished to. Our only criticism is the time passed far too quickly and we didn’t want the workshop to end! Would highly recommend this workshop and we’ll be keeping a look out for future updates. Thank you Sarah x"
