Intensive 1 to 1 Welding Day Course M.I.G / T.I.G / M.M.A (Stick)

Here at Allied Welding, we are pleased to offer a One to One day course on your preferred process of either MMA (Stick), MIG & TIG welding with a Fully Qualified City and Guilds approved Welding Tutor. This in-depth Day course will cover everything you need to know for your preferred process and how to apply it to your specific needs. Starting the day running through some Health and Safety information to do with the welding process in order to keep you and others around you safe while you are with us as well as your future welding career. The theory behind the welding process will also be taught to give you a greater understanding of why things happen while welding and how to critique your own work in order to improve your welding when you leave us for the day. The day will mostly be filled with hands on welding on a one to one basis with your tutor. This will include the correct way to run a variety of welds in different positions. The 1 day course includes: * ALL Materials and consumables! * Refreshments * A start time of 10.00am finishing approximately 5.00pm * A short, but necessary Health and Safety talk. * We will discuss what you'd like from the course and briefly how the chosen process works. * How to set up the machinery for the welding process. * How to prepare the metal prior to welding * Start welding using modern welding machines with ready cut clean metal for different welds. * A tutor will be on hand at all times for advice and guidance. * What to look for in both a good and a bad weld. * This will be a fully packed day designed to give great value for money. Information. Please wear working clothes suitable for the environment Long sleeved garments are essential. A leather apron and welding gauntlets are supplied. If you are fitted with a heart pacemaker or wear contact lenses please consult your doctor or/and your optician before booking this course. Refreshments are supplied in with the course price, but a packed lunch will be required. If you are traveling from further afield and would like to make a weekend to explore the Essex countryside or coast after or before your experience we can suggest a few following places to stay: Premier Inn Rayleigh or Basildon, Holiday Inn Basildon or Southend to name but a few. Protective footwear is essential, if you do not have your own we can provide on the day at very competitive price. If you do not have suitable clothing of your own, welders overalls can be provided on the day at a very competitive price. Please advise us on any medical conditions.
