"I attended a 1 day Mig welding course which was absolutely tailored to my needs. I would recommend this day course to beginners or people who want to improve their skills. David is a great tutor with the answers to all my questions. He gave me the confidence and that with more practice using the methods he showed me, I can take on my vehicle repairs. "Overall a good course, but on balance would probably prefer more time on mig weld than stick weld. Maybe on enrolment ask what the course concentrates on. Good to see accurate health and safety advice especially around eye safety. Thoroughly enjoyable day and would recommend to anyone looking to learn and excellent value for money. "

"As a complete novice this gave me everything that I need to start wedding. The course, for obvious reasons, started with some safety discussions before we moved on to a practical demo followed by loads practice with arc welding. The afternoon concentrated on MMA welding and followed the same structure as the morning session. David is an excellent instructor both with the briefing/demo sessions and with one-to-one guidance during the practical elements. He obviously has loads of experience and would be able to start/improve the skills of any attendee. This was a very worthwhile and enjoyable course that covered all the bases without feeling rushed in any way. Highly recommended."

"Did not really know what to expect but it was a really good course. Processes clearly explained and demonstrated. When you are having a go in a well prepared booth there is constant support, encouragement and guidance. Never felt that we were other than supported and guided throughout the day. I am a complete beginner and would thoroughly recommend this introduction to welding. "

"The course is a good one day course covering all the basics for MMA & MIG welding (not TIG). It is a very practical hands on course. It began, after introductions, with the all important health & safety aspects, which really explained the reasons behind the dangers of the process and using the equipment. Then straight into a short demonstration and from there on, most of the day was spent actually welding first with MMA and then with MIG. This was interspersed with live demonstrations or how and how not to weld. Dave, our instructor explained the processes and showed the techniques at each stage and was always at hand to help. For anyone who has never welded or is afraid of the process this is an excellent course to go on. Essential if you are going to buy your first welding kit."
