Karen McGinn reviewed: Business candle making workshop - one to one

"I've just finished the candle business course with Kerry and now looking forward to getting started with my own candle business. I learnt so much in a short space of time and everything was thorough explained. She gave me lots of tips of what to do and what not to do which will help me from making mistakes myself. I really enjoyed this course and would highly recommend it for anyone who is about thinking of doing it!"

Steph Davies reviewed: Spoon carving course - from log to spoon with Jeffrey Hart

"Loved Jeffrey's course, such a great way to spend a day and learn carving skills to take with you anywhere and everywhere as long as you've got the tools! His approach was relaxed and informal whilst being jam packed with useful tips and techniques, and made everyone feel as ease with the new processes. Would highly recommend, I've since got my own knives and can resist an evening spent whittling!"

Ailsa reviewed: Two person 'Have a Bash' at Blacksmithing course in Shropshire

"My sister in law and I were treated to a day at Jake’s workshop to spend the day learning about and turning our hands to blacksmithing. We both had a fantastic time, Jake took the time to explain everything and demonstrate what we’d be doing, and helped us along the way as needed. Lunch was very pleasant, and well needed after finishing our pokers. Afterwards it was straight back to the workshop to craft our knives. Overall it was a really enjoyable day, and we both said that we’d definitely like to do it again!"

Tony Laws reviewed: Make you own fan bird

"Spent yesterday at the wooden spoon carving course at the Sill. A thoroughly enjoyable experience! All the steps were clearly described and demonstrated by Steve and with only five participants there was ample time for Steve to give one to one help and assistance where required. If you like working with wood then, like me, you will find green wood spoon carving an enjoyable new challenge and potentially an absorbing pastime!"

Val Blake reviewed: Stonecarving Weekend, Gloucestershire Cotswolds

"A delightful weekend. It commenced with a chat to say why we were all there, so we then felt we were pals who all knew each other. Relaxing at tea breaks and lunch was then with a company of friends. Our stonecarving was aided by Sebastian's experience and excellent knowledge and all the tools we could possibly need were to hand. His tuition was excellent. We all produced our own special work - a sheer pleasure to see at the end of a most enjoyable and absorbing weekend. I would recommend it to everyone."

"Two days of a great stone carving course in a warm and friendly stidio. I loved the place on the edge of the Cotswolds. Sebastian's expert but easy going tuition helped me get the satsifaction of bringing a picture out of a piece of stone. Highly recommended, a wonderful and rewarding way to spend two days of your life. Suitable for the complete beginner or those who already had some experience of stone carving."

"I’m still smiling 2 days later. This was such a friendly course. Elspeth is a great teacher. She gave attention to everyone and never left slower crafters behind. It’s lovely to come away with all the skills to get rag rugging immediately. I’ve finished a second practice piece and I’ll be starting a cushion shortly. I would highly recommend a Ragged Life course to anyone."

Robert McArthur reviewed: Pole Lathe Bowl Turning - Your First Bowl

"What fantastic course... To be able to start with half a log and turn it into a useful bowl in a few hours and without any pressure was very satisfying. Adrian knows his craft and is willing to share his vast knowledge and help you along the way. I thought I might struggle with the treadling versus my old plumbers knees but there are plenty of breaks and a filling lunch. I'd recommend to anyone."

Olinda Everett reviewed: Experimental Printmaking inspired by Mid Century Design in Derbyshire

"I return to Liz’s workshops with great anticipation and delight: she shares generously her knowledge, she encourages and most valued of all, she fosters a sense of confidence in my own ideas that makes the day an entirely satisfying experience. The studio is immaculate and always inspiring any time of year: I think the views without and the serenity within are part of the delight. This workshop was full of learning and fun, we had very good company and a clear sense of purpose and structure for the day."

Anne from Worcester reviewed: Embroidery Hanging-"Stitch for the Soul" with Julie Brand at Tigley Textiles in Worcester

"really good teaching, on selecting a colour range in one piece of fabric "that you love" and choosing all the other pieces to incorporate into a seascape. Enjoyed learning new stitches, couching, wobbly french knots and bullion knots and experimenting freestyle with a range of thickness of texture of fabric."

Janice reviewed: How to make chocolate & candy bar bouquets online master class

"I attended Neelam’s Chocolate & Candy Bouquet Masterclass. I’ve been making small gifts for a year or so but couldn’t get my technique right. I came across Neelam and the gift wrapping academy and booked the live masterclass. It was one of the best investments I’ve made since I started my small gifting business She is very patient and highly skilled in presenting gifts, we learnt how to make bouquets from scratch using tissue flowers and cellophanes. An excellent day and productive day. My finished bouquets were stunning and I never thought I could learn so much in one day. You also get full access to her online Chocolate & Candy Bouquet Masterclass which means you can practice and watch the videos over and over again. I’ve had more orders for my gifts since I rolled out my new and improved chocolate and candy bouquets than I have in a whole year of trying She is very open to sharing her skills and secrets to building a home based gifting business I will definitely be booking Neelam’s other creative gifting classes. Highly recommended if you want to learn from a well known gifting expert in the UK."

Neelam Meetcha Gift Wrapping Course & Paper Flower Training Academy responded:

"Hi Jan, Thank you so much for your review, it's most appreciated and it was wonderful to have you attend our Chocolate & Candy Bouquet Masterclass. I wish you all the best for your gifting business and look forward to seeing you on our other creative craft courses. Best of luck and enjoy your time crafting your amazing chocolate bouquets styles. xx"
