Carole Sidman reviewed: Introduction to Leather Craft

"Just an amazing weekend. Bill is a wonderful teacher, informative, intuitive and extraordinarily talented. The weekend was a wonderful mix of lighthearted easygoing fun with lots of information and skill sharing from Bill. He was very generous with his equipment and time. We worked hard and I know he certainly did but it was immense fun. I would certainly recommend this course as, even though I knew absolutely nothing about leather craft, Bill helped us all to craft amazing works. I think this is a testament to a great teacher. Thank you Bill."

Susan Howe reviewed: Beginners Heritage Stained Glass - Unique two day workshop

"I enjoyed the class and learned/achieved what I wanted. I love what I made and also did a recce at Reading Stained Glass a week later. Sadly I also discovered the processes and some of the materials were very harsh on my hands; probably should have worn disposable gloves and/or used barrier cream. I am really looking forward to doing the glass painting course."

Jan Simpson Studio Glass t/a Koru Arts responded:

"Thank you for your review Susan and I am sorry your poor hands suffered. We are looking forward to seeing you for the painting course and glad that you had a great day. We will be putting on a few new special courses this summer with some very talented artists that you might enjoy."

Cath Moore reviewed: Alternative firing - Introduction to Naked Clay Workshop - West Sussex

"John delivered an informative and fun course, expertly covering a variety of naked clay techniques. I am very happy with the results I produced as a complete novice and much enjoyed appraising the work of my fellow attendees. The lunch, both days, was delicious, and it was lovely to chat to such an interesting bunch of potters and our hosts John, Janet & Tom. Thanks for the advice and encouragement, I'll be back! All the best, Cath"

"After graduating in textile design, this was my first time in a professional design studio as a new designer. Even though I was taught photoshop and design skills, I still learnt so much from Mary and the team who have so much experience in all things design. This is a course tailored to suit each individual and their design needs, definitely recommend!"

Rosalind reviewed: Sculpture at Bull Mill Arts Wiltshire

"Very well structured course. The processes were clearly and persuasively explained, skilfully demonstrated where appropriate. Two tutors, both aspects of the work covered therefore and help and advice always on hand. I liked the fact that there was no time wasted. Excellent tea and coffee were readily available so we didn't have breaks and clearing up forced upon us-- the time was a full 10-4 each day. It was also very enjoyable and everyone came away with a finished piece. I'd certainly come again. Perhaps the best art/craft course I've been on."

Caroline Wallis reviewed: Adult pottery classes (hand building) at Terra Mia UK

"I am an absolute beginner and am so glad I found this course and tutor. Alba is a creative, gifted and knowledgeable; she really enjoys her craft and conveys this with enthusiasm. As a tutor, Alba is patient, supportive and encouraging - meeting you where you are at. I like the small classes, it allows for time and attention from her as tutor. The studio is a great space to work in, full of light and warm in winter. The course is real value for money and I highly recommend it"

Liz Atyeo reviewed: Craft Workshop: Learn to make silver art clay jewellery in a day (beginner)

"What a brilliant course with a lovely group of ladies. I had a fantastic day, thoroughly enjoyed myself and came away with three pairs of small earrings and a beautiful leaf pendant to replace one that had tarnished. Sally is so patient, helpful and encouraging. What a talented lady and incredibly brave to let us loose with a blow torch!"

Craft Workshops responded:

"Thank You Liz. You did really well making the earrings and replacement leaf pendant. I have nerves of steel (or should that be silver?!) :) Sally"

"Excellent day, in which we were all allowed to work comfortably at our own pace. A very solid introduction to leatherworking, and I definitely now feel able to continue on my own. Would definitely recommend - thank you!"

Jon Teague reviewed: Learn to carve wooden spoons, beginners and improvers

"Had a great day on the course. Already had my own tools, the Spon book and had tried a few spoons by myself but Dave's help and advice on the day was invaluable. Reading Spon and watching videos online is no substitute for Dave watching what you're actually doing and giving some directional nudges. Great atmosphere too and also excellent flapjacks."

Lisa Roxby reviewed: Introduction to Needle Felting Workshop - Sheep and Fox

"Thoroughly enjoyed these workshops. I learnt a lot of new skills here, welltaught at a managed rate. The construction was nothing like I had imagined, but feel I now have the skills to repeat this again. I am looking to book another course as it was so well led, however cannot find a Saturday with the animals I want to do on the schedule at the moment. If I do I will definitely return for the day. Well worth it, excellent value."

Pauline Reynolds reviewed: Introduction to Needle Felting Workshop - Sheep and Fox

"I attended the course with a friend who doesn’t normally do craft but is a crochet fan. We both thoroughly enjoyed the day. Everyone was friendly and helpful and there was a mixture of abilities. I picked up lots of tips and ways of improving the Fox I’d tried to do on my own at home. Think the Fox was abit fiddly for my friend and maybe we should have just attended the morning one as she found sitting for a long time abit much. I however could have stayed for a week. Shall definitely come again. Thank you"

Felt Wildly responded:

"Thank you Pauline Was lovely to meet you. We do have to fit a lot into the day and I have put a little note about this on the website explaining it is quite intense! Kind regards Claire"
