It is suitable for beginners and also for people who have done some carving before and wanting to develop their skills and technique."

Jo Stanton reviewed: Sculptural willow weaving - Animals

"Such a great day. I booked online during lockdown ... didn’t know what to expect. Small personable class, lovely instructor Stephen who is so knowledgeable & great company, we all made a large animal, each one individual to our desires but from the same basis to start with and all from willow. Brought it home (a bit like a stag) and all the family couldn’t believe I achieved that in a single day. Would recommend to every age - no skills required, feel like a fab achievement at a time when we can do so little it feels! Thank you Stephen"

Bea reviewed: Craft Kit – Make your own handmade Tartan flower with a Petersham Bow

"I chose my colour combination and it is perfect for my jacket. I received this kit and completed it in less than an hour. I am so pleased with my brooch. Excellent product. The purchase form needs to be updated so that you can put your colour choices on the form. This would eliminate the emails that are required to sort this out. The seller is super efficient and wants to you to get your product ASAP, but I don't read my email daily, so any delay in getting your product is caused by this."

Margaret Woodliff Wright Millinery responded:

"Hello Bea Thank you very much for your review, I am so pleased you have enjoyed your kit, both making your tartan flower and wearing it! I know that the brilliant admin team at CraftCourses are working hard to respond to all the challenges that the current situation has thrust upon us all, and I’m sure that they will look at updating the purchase form to enhance the site’s functionality if at all possible. In the meantime I thought you would like to know that I am continuing to develop new concepts for hobby millinery kits so you can make your own small headpieces for when those weddings and special events finally get the go ahead. I will be listing these kits in due course on my Craft Courses page. Thanks again for your review Margaret"

Angela reviewed: Family & Friends 4 x bronze clay sleeping cat - including on-line video with Jo Garden Art

"I was brought the family sleeping cat sculpture kit for my birthday. We completed them in stages over 4 weekends during lockdown and thoroughly enjoyed spending time together making them. I don't think my husband or son would have considered attending a craft course but enjoyed making them at home. The instructions were clear and comprehensive but the cats are very definitely individuals. A strange lockdown birthday but a lovely reminder of spending time together as a family. An excellent craft course and would highly recommend it."

Jo Garden Art responded:

"Thank you Angela! You made my day when your review and the photo you sent came through on my email ;-) As you said, despite the same materials and instructions everyone made completely different cats (and little mice with the left over clay!). So glad you had some special time together as a family. Jo x"

Victoria reviewed: Felted pebbles or stacking stones with Purr & Wag It

"Heather sent all the materials needed in plenty of time and clearly labelled. She had the online tutorial set up really well, so that we could watch her hands working as well as see her face as she talked us through. We got several pebbles made during the workshop, with lots of material left over to try more at home. She was patient and inclusive and I thoroughly enjoyed learning from her. Thank you."

Purr & Wag It, Tabletop Workshops: wet felting responded:

"Thank you Victoria! Inclusivity is a big reason for me keeping my workshops, whether in person or live on line, small. Looking forward to the opportunity of working with you again. Best wishes Heather"
