Description

Willow Framed Basket making workshop in Stockton on Tees. Come along and enjoy the day learning to make this lovely and very useful basket. Learn a new skill and some basic techniques of willow work and take home with you your very own work of art. Level - beginners.

What's included in the price?

All tools and materials are included in the price, but please bring a packed lunch with you. Tea and coffee with be served throughout the day. If you have a favourite pair of secateurs and would like to use those, then please bring them with you.

"If you want to spend your Sunday in a fun and relaxing way, peg loom weaving may be just the thing for you. To ensure we all finish our makes, Victoria was happy to go over the designated time! She had prepared a mountain of wool from the sheep in her care- I used the softest white wool from Peter Pan, the sheep who loves to wear hats and other head gear. You could choose from different colours, and some added a piece of fabric to their design. My completed project is on my office chair already and is very comfortable. Peg loom weaving is very achievable and the final result is rewarding. "

"A very relaxed atmosphere throughout the day, I never felt under any pressure to keep up and worked at my own pace but Victoria was never far away if she was needed.
