Foraging and wild cocktails workshop

X

Description

Spend a day immersed in nature, foraging for wild ingredients and then sit back and enjoy a wild tipple. Your guide will be George Fredenham, a chef, distiller and forager based in London, known as ‘Flavour Fred’. During your experience you'll learn how to safely identify wild plants, understanding their edible and medicinal uses, as well as the plants to avoid. We will meander slowly through the woods, with the guided walk lasting approximately 2.5 hours. We'll then return to basecamp and George will prepare some cocktails for us to enjoy, that include some wild flavours, along with some freshly made flatbreads and dips. Your experience will run for 3.5-4hrs and will be held at a beautiful private woodland near Tickenham, near Bristol. The meeting point will be shared the week before the event. Please share any dietary requirements in the notes on booking.

I'm Hannah and I organise events that get people outdoors, learning about wild food and cooking, gathering and eating together while reigniting our creativity, sense of adventure and connection with nature. I am excited to work with different makers and facilitators in different venues and woodlands to create this.
