Weekend stone carving courses on the beautiful Wales/Shropshire border. I have been teaching stone carving weekends for about 20 years and enjoy them immensely. The days usually run from 9.30am - 5pm and I am flexible about what people want to do and make, whether it be relief, 3D or a specific idea for a sculpture. This is a 2 day course suitable for all abilities - no age limits either! I have taught elderly people as well as lots of parents and children/teenagers with great success. Enjoy a satisfying, creative and fun weekend; eat well, and take your creations home. You may find you come back several times! I also run a weekly Tuesday stone carving workshop (10am-2pm) , but these have been on hold for the time being. I specialise in distinctive stone pieces for the home and garden, inspired by nature and natural forms. If you are interested and want to know more please get in touch about the next available dates.
What's included in the price?
Materials, tools, tea, coffee and a lovely home made lunch are all included in the price. Accommodation is available on request as well as camping in the grounds.
