This is a new group, so we are looking for new members to join us...a warm welcome awaits. A perfect course for absolute beginners, or anyone wishing to explore and incorporate new and exciting watercolour approaches to their existing artwork. We will be experimenting and learning new skills with a host of different water based mediums, tools and materials, both ancient and contemporary. A fun, relaxing and creative course. As a freelance artist and qualified arts teacher (for over 25 years) I still work within the learning departments of many London based Museums and Galleries, schools, and charities, from the V&A to the Museum of London, AgeUK to Thomas Pocklington Trust supporting blind and partially sighted students. I develop, design and create various art based classes, workshops and courses. In the last 8 years I have also been running my own private Watercolour Courses - these run one day a week at Wanstead House E11...and since all the lockdowns I have also managed to squeeze in some mini online classes too! Relaxation through Art is a personal practise that I have been developing and teaching for over 10 years, with an aim to exploring different ways to manage stress with a variety of simple yet stimulating art exercises which you can learn and practise in your everyday life.
