Description

A one day workshop making small round baskets using a combination of Somerset willow and locally grown organic willow. This workshop is suitable for all, but is aimed at beginners or those who have only just started their journey with willow weaving. Numbers are limited to just 4 participants so that you receive lots of individual attention. Everyone will be able to complete a small round fruit or bread basket without handles in a day. If you take to weaving quickly or have a little experience already you may be able to make a something a bit bigger such as a wastepaper basket. Bed and breakfast at the cottage is now available. Please enquire if you're interested.

What's included in the price?

A simple, yummy vegetarian lunch and light refreshments are included in the price, but materials are charged for at the end of the workshop depending on how much you actually use - to give you some idea, the willow cost for a smallish round basket would be about £10 -£12. Please remember to bring cash for this.
