Four blackwork cameos in one kit, each one adapted to reflect the four seasons in design and choice of amazing hand dyed Stef Francis fine perle embroidery threads.
Simple back stitch is all that is required to complete this project and we have supplied the fabric as one piece so that you can stitch them as in the image or use your creative skills and create your own layout.
Our spring design features flowers in shades of pink and purple combined with the juicy green of early spring leaves.
In summer, flowers are joined by summer fruits in a wonderful thread that reflects the flamboyance of the season.
Tone things down a little in autumn with more muted seasonal shades and a design featuring acorns and seed heads.
Winter brings deep shades of red and green, the flowers turn to snowflakes adorning the branches of Yuletide foliage and berries.
Of course, these designs can be used in your own pieces in whole or in part and they make a wonderful introduction to the art of blackwork embroidery.
Complete instructions make this a mini course in its own right.
The wonderful Stef Francis embroidery threads lend themselves perfectly to blackwork projects and each finished piece measures approx 7 x 6cm.

This is a lovely kit with a good selection of fabrics, ribbons and embellishments to reflect the Lakeland Hues theme.
both my friend who I had a kit sent to, and myself who ordered the kits, were very pleased wth the kit and contents, all well packaged and a lovely seletion of fabrics etc to create with. a nice unusual kit.
This kit caught my eye when I saw it on Craft Courses, it looked so pretty and fresh colours. I received mine very quickly and it is so nicely packaged and a good deal of fabric and other embellishments too. I set great store by how things I buy are packaged up and this was really good.
I since ordered another kit to go direct to a friend and like with me she received it very quickly and is delighted with it.
Thank you Maire for such a lovely kit
This kit arrived earlier this week and is nicely packaged and has everything needed to make the item.
The instructions look clear and the end product looks like it will be beautiful (depending on my skill!).
The only reason I didn't give this 'excellent' is due to the fact that there's no print out for the stitches required, I'm going to look them up on YouTube as I think I know what I'm doing, but a simple print out showing how to do these stitches would be useful for others.
Overall, I'd buy this kit again, or another kit from the same maker.
