Fun bushcraft day! Are you aged between 6 and 16 years and wanting to re-wild your Dad? This is your opportunity to spend the day in the woods together learning Bushcraft for Father’s Day 2022!
Please note this event takes place on Saturday 18th June 2022, which is the day before Father’s Day.
Re-wild Dad and Child includes:
Lighting a fire using flint and steel, charcloth and tinder bundles.
Making wooden mallets & pegs and then go off and build your own weather proof shelter, which will be put to the test!
Having a walk through the woods to learn about the trees and plants, discover their edibility and their herbal medicine uses.
Dad’s VS children at capture the flag (depending on COVID-19 restrictions).
Cooking yummy campfire snacks, such as popcorn, marshmallows and nettle crisps.
And more!
The activities above may vary due to different interests and abilities in the group. Dads don’t forget to have breakfast in bed before your re-wild day in the woods!
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
