About the Course
Fun and exciting paper craft and card making workshops for everyone.
I have many years of experience as an Adult Education Lecturer delivering classes and workshops. Dizzy Doo-Dah Crafts is named after my rescue Beagle cross dog, he is very friendly and loves a cuddle.
Learn to make stunning and unique cards in a fun and friendly environment, suitable for beginners and experienced crafters.
There will be a ‘step by step’ demonstration of the activity and how to use the tools and resources. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced crafter you will have the opportunity to learn new techniques and expand on existing skills you have. You will take home two to three beautiful cards, copying either from the design I demonstrate or using ideas of your own.
The techniques demonstrated will include: stamping, scoring and folding, dry embossing, heat embossing using inks and powders, masking, matting and layering. Plus, sponging, stencilling, die cutting, brushes, water colouring, alcohol marker techniques and many more.
Bespoke workshops for special occasions and seasonal or themed workshops can be arranged.
My workshops are small and friendly and are held in my home in Toton, Nottinghamshire. They take place on the second Saturday of the month from 10 am – 12 pm. Please ring to confirm dates and availability. Prior booking is essential to secure a place.

I attended the 10/8/19 card making workshop and have to say, thoroughly enjoyed the session. As a complete novice I found it friendly and very informative with Debbie making sure I didn’t feel left behind at any stage. I produced 2 lovely cards, learnt so much and enjoyed it enough to want to book on the next one. Thanks Debbie.

I attended Debbie's card making workshop on 10th August 2019. I must say the workshop was both informative and lots of fun. Debbie's knowledge of her craft were second to none. I can't believe how fast the time went, but I still managed to produce 2 lovely cards. I will definitely be attending another workshop in the near future. Thank you Debbie.

I really enjoyed my craft making session. I've made cards before, but it was great to learn some more techniques and also meet new people. Deborah carefully led everyone through the steps ensuring each person attending made something they were proud of. Great session.

A thoroughly enjoyable crafting workshop for everyone. I am a complete beginner to arts and crafts but was able to follow all the steps with guidance and support from Debbie in this small, friendly, local group. There was plenty of opportunity to explore my own ideas and to use those suggested by Debbie too. The various techniques were clearly demonstrated and the variety of materials and resources were easily accessible. The opportunity to make with others, at my own pace, was a real pleasure and I left with two beautiful, individually crafted cards. What a great sense of achievement and boost to my self-esteem!

I really enjoyed my card making workshop which was held on 4th May, although i'm not an experienced crafter, it was easy to follow and I made two beautiful cards (saves my buying two cards for the future now!). I will definitely be booking in again. Thanks Dizzy Doo-Dah Crafts!
