On this Introduction to lino printing workshop with artist Suzanne Kemplay, you will explore ways of creating simple, striking images to print onto a range of paper products.
This is a hands-on, practical and fun workshop where you will learn the basic skills of lino cutting and printing, and gain the confidence you need to create beautiful prints at home without the need for expensive equipment.
You will take home your original lino cut design to use at home, a framed copy of your original print, and a selection of printed products.
Please note that the November date for this class is a special festive-themed workshop where you design and print festive cards/gift tags/tissue gift wrap. Perfect timing for Christmas!
Refunds are not available on this booking. Start dates may be amended on request.
The Arienas Collective experiences are run from a supportive and welcoming home environment in the Edinburgh New Town. Spaces are limited to allow our artists and designer-makers to offer hands-on help and support. All equipment is provided and all the materials you will need (unless stated otherwise). Just turn up, leave any day-to-day worries behind, and immerse yourself in creating something unique.
Refreshment breaks are an important part of The Arienas Collective experiences. They are a time to socialise, make new friends and chat to the artists and designer-makers. We are fortunate to have a fantastic range of independent shops and producers nearby and are proud to feature locally sourced food and drinks.
The price includes all materials unless stated otherwise, refreshments, and of course you take home all the unique products you have created. All our experiences are also available to book as a private group, please email us for more information.
