The original prints have been really popular and you can see that as a set they make a very striking set of A6 cards. Each card has details on the back and is blank inside for your own message. How this was made
I first create sketches from British birds, then develop these into lino block designs. The lino block is then carved and inked up. I choose different types of paper, including tissue papers, vintage papers and ephemera. I cut and tear these to fit the print, then I use nori paste to encase these items within the print as part of the printing process.

Tricia has been an experienced and qualified arts tutor for the past 20 years. She studied Art & Design for three years in the Midlands before moving to the Sussex coast and gaining a Related Arts B.A. (Hons) Degree along with several teaching qualifications. Tricia is a working artist across an extensive variety of art and craft disciplines, who has exhibited at many venues across the South East, nationally and internationally, in addition to regularly teaching adult education and private courses in West Sussex.
