How this was made
Reduction prints are made by carving away details, inking up and printing the plate. Then the next colour layer is carved, inked and printed. This means that once a layer is printed it can never be printed again. This reduction print had 5 separate layers of coloured ink printed to create this beautiful nest and eggs image.

Tricia has been an experienced and qualified arts tutor for the past 20 years. She studied Art & Design for three years in the Midlands before moving to the Sussex coast and gaining a Related Arts B.A. (Hons) Degree. Tricia is a working artist across an extensive variety of arts and craft disciplines, who has exhibited at many venues across the South East, nationally and internationally, in addition to regularly teaching adult education and private courses in West Sussex.
