Description
On this Introduction to lino-printing onto fabric workshop, local artist Suzanne Kemplay will help you explore ways of creating simple images and striking patterns from which you will print your own, unique tote bag or tea towel. This is a hands-on, practical and fun workshop where you will learn how to create an original design, cut your design onto lino, add paint, and print onto fabric. You will gain the confidence you need to create beautiful prints at home without the need for expensive equipment. You will take home your printed cotton tote bag or tea towel. You can bring your own fabric, or plain t-shirt to the workshop if you wish.
What's included in the price?
All equipment is provided, and the materials you need to complete your project are included in the price of your workshop. And, you will take home all the beautiful pieces you have created. Locally-sourced, light refreshments are also included in the price, including a selection of Shibui teas, Mr Eion coffees, plus access to drinking water. On full day workshops you are welcome to bring your own lunch to eat in. There is a wide range of independent sit-in and takeaway cafés, local shops and delicatessens, plus a range of supermarkets within a few minutes walk.
