Painting Light In The Land - Acrylic Painting Experience.
Description
Day 1 will be an in depth look at colour, application and how to look at the light in our landscape. With a relaxing and light hearted approach, we’ll develop techniques to really emphasise light and dark in our work, using the ever beautiful and forgiving acrylic paint. Day 2 is an opportunity to use these skills in our work. We will produce up to 2 pieces of work, either from your own images, or those provided in the studio. This is an opportunity to follow your instincts and apply the confidence built up from the previous day, resulting in confident, uplifting artwork.
What's included in the price?
Tea and coffee are available throughout the day. You are welcome to bring lunch to the studio, or grab a bite from the excellent deli or tea rooms in the courtyard. All materials and tools for the day of painting are provided.

Maker
I study landscapes, weather and seasonal change with a strong emphasis on colour. Currently I am painting with oils, but I regularly produce work with oil pastels, acrylics and inks. My love of the landscape and the ever changing weather conditions are my starting point, developing my work through sketches that explore composition and colour. From here, I work to create vivid and stimulating final pieces.
