Had a really great fun workshop with Charlotte on Saturday. I was really grateful for all the help and advice she gave me which enabled me to upcycle an old side table into something which looks good and which I will now use, instead of having it hiding away in a corner. I will be booking for another of her courses in Chester.

I had a wonderful day with Charlotte. She is truly an expert in this field of chalk painting. I had absolutely no idea what would be involved but at every step of the way Charlotte was there with the perfect amount of advice, she has a beautiful way of helping complete novices and more experienced people alike. I learned so much and was so thrilled that everything we needed was supplied but most importantly I appreciated the time that Charlotte spent with me. My upcycled table looks almost professional. I would highly recommend taking up the opportunity to learn or improve this skill and the day definitely made me want to do more. Thank you Charlotte for a very special day. Hope to see you again soon.

We really enjoyed our day painting with Charlotte, she really knows her stuff. The day was fun, relaxing, calm and we made some great friends. Charlotte is a great teacher, host and advisor with lots of encouraging tips. I feel confident to give other pieces a go now. The completed piece was beyond my expectation. What a brilliant way to spend the day, with a bonus of great food in the restaurant too. Well done Charlotte and we'll definitely be back soon.

Really enjoyed the time spent on the course with Charlotte. I felt comfortable within minutes of arriving and felt able to ask questions throughout the day. There is no doubt that Charlotte is an expert and very knowledgeable in her field. She is full of ideas and suggestions that inspired me to think about other projects I can do at home. I really had my eyes opened to various different techniques and finishes that can be used when upcycling. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants to learn from a professional how to upcycle - I enjoyed it so much I intend to come again with another project. Thanks again Charlotte, brilliant educational and fun day! Julie Simmonds

Had a fantastic workshop with Charlotte on Saturday. I learnt all about the different chalk paint techniques, managed to transform two dated pieces of furniture and had lots of fun doing it. Charlotte really knows her stuff and offers just the right amount of support. The atmosphere was relaxed in the beautiful craft centre, the only struggle was trying not to buy too many cakes from the amazing restaurant! Fantastic day, will definitely be back! Thanks Charlotte

The course was a gift from my son and daughter in law, it's got to be one of the best presents ever. I spent the day at the workshop giving a new life to a coffee table that I have had for at least thirty years, Charlotte was brilliant, as a novice she puts you at ease and gives you confidence right from the start, the skills that she passes on will stay with me. Charlotte also provides everything that is needed paint, filler and brushes.
I shall certainly be returning as it has given me a new interest and the gift vouchers are a brilliant idea.
