Professional quality water based block print inks. Pack of 4. I use this UK made brand ESSDEE in my own lino print artwork. Have fun mixing your own shades!
Intermixable block printing ink which has excellent tack and transfer properties. Perfect for stamping, lino, potato, block and stick printing techniques. Great for young children getting to grips with printing and also professionals and students. Assorted colours. 30ml per metal tin with screw lid.
Ink is taken from a larger tube, measured before being placed in its own small screw top tin for transport. Easy to use with a lolly stick, teaspoon, artist palette knife etc. Treat similar to emulsion wall paint - always wipe rim and replace lid after use - store upright to prevent spills and dry out.
Why buy me:
- The smaller qty tins allow you to try out lots of different colours and mix your own without investing in larger expensive tubes.
- I'm mid quality - not budget but you can spend lots more on printing inks. These have great performance and a smooth even coverage.
- I wash off in warm soapy water - throw these inks all over yourself!
- I go a long way! Less is often better with printing inks - start with a small amount and add more if you need to - better than blobbing away and using up your ink on blotchy wet prints.....Every print and every printer is different but think to use something similar to a baked bean size amount for a 10x10cm print. The tin would hold 20/25 baked beans!! (approx....)
Colours available as below please drop me a message with your order to say which 4 colours you want in your pack. If you prefer a 100ml tin or a 300ml tube please check out my other listings via the "More from this maker" button.

I spent a fabulous day with Catherine learning to cut Lino. I would thoroughly recommend this course if you wish to learn this wonderful skill at a pace that suits you.
This kit is just what I wanted. The materials and tools are of good quality and the instructions are easy to understand and follow. The clear explanations and guidelines and tips make for a positive and encouraging result to make you want to do more. Additionally, the set came beautifully wrapped and without 'over the top packaging' which is very important to me. I would recommend this product and in one word it is 'excellent'! Thank you
Loved the packaging . Saw the YouTube tutorials and I am very pleased with all the materials sent by Catherine.
Even tried on a Lino sheet and I think I’m getting addicted to it. Just stripping off each layer of the Lino sheet has been so therapeutic for me ... love love it .
Thank you Catherine
I can't quite go to excellent as I have not used the kit yet, but..... It arrived beautifully packaged and with everything included.
I am looking forward to using it on the next rainy day and as I want to use my own design - when I have decided which it will be.
I love this kit, its something to keep my husband and I entertained through lockdown and we're very much looking forward to trying it.
The seller was super helpful and it arrived quickly. She also put in a bit extra for us as we are doing it as a pair which was unexpected but very gratefully received.
Would 100% use this seller again for any other kits that take our fancy.
What a fabulous afternoon spent with Catherine on her lino cut course at Chemist & Co. The venue is great, with loads of space to spread out, and Catherine is a great teacher. She came armed with loads of inspiration for our lino cut cards, and loads of fab colours for the printing. I love my cards and will be sneding them out with pride. Thank you Catherine.
