One to one photography workshop for beginners. Do you have a mirrorless or DSLR camera and not really sure how to use it? Do you keep it on auto and hope for the best? Confused by all the buttons and settings? "Yes" then this is the perfect course for you. My one to one 2 hour bite-size photography session will take the fear out of using your camera, give you skills that will last a lifetime and teach you how to start taking the photos you have always wanted. My workshop will give you a good foundation, taught without using all the hard to understand technical jargon. Because there is only so much information you can take on board in one go, my courses are 2 hours long. This course runs every day from 10.00am to Midday. All tuition is individualised to your requirements. This course is field based in Northamptonshire, we agree a suitable location based on what you like to photograph. There are some lovely places to explore, whether it is nature or some of the pretty villages, there is something for everyone. You will learn: What all the buttons do on your camera How to quickly navigate through the menu's and what they all mean How to get off the Fully Auto snapshot setting Shutter Priority - Shutter speeds Aperture Priority - F stops All about ISO How to get everything in all your picture sharp How to get a blurry background (bokeh) How to get the correct exposure The different Drive Modes, when to use them

I bought my 1st SLR in 2008, one Photography course, and a RPS Licentiate Distinction (LRPS) qualification later, my passion for photography was born. I love to photograph, Nature and wildlife, landscapes and nightscapes. I have had the opportunity to travel for work in the past, and have been to some extraordinary corners of this planet. To be able capture those memories is priceless. My guilty pleasure is aviation photography, as I love the smell of aviation fuel and the noise of fast jets.
