About the Course

In this workshop you will join Sarah to learn 2D needle felt techniques and embellish a bag with a picture of your choice. Trained in textile design, Sarah has been needle felting for over 4 years and is the owner of Adors, where she specialises in needle felt pictures and embellished accessories and can often be found working on commission pieces for her customers.

Suitable for complete beginners or those with experience, you will be able to choose your style of bag ( cross body or large shopping tote) to embellish. You will be guided through the process of marking out your image before learning how to needle felt and how to blend colours and fibres to create a unique accessory.

There will be a maximum of 6 on any workshop to ensure you receive adequate time and tuition from Sarah. All materials will be supplied along with refreshments. Please feel free to bring a packed lunch if required.

There will be an option at the end to purchase a basic needle felting kit should you "get the bug" and want to continue your new hobby at home.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
