Have fun turning old t-shirts and forgotten favourites into recycled works of art with the age-old skill of rag rugging. In this online class you will learn all the skills you will need to be able to make unique rag rugs, cushions and art to spice up your home. Careful though, it’s addictive!
Learn all the basics of British rag rugging in this 2 hour live online workshop. Familiarise yourself with the tools, learn how to prep fabric, and try three British rag rug techniques. To receive your tools in time for the workshop, please book one week in advance.

This workshop is £50 including tools, which will be sent to you. If you already have the tools then the cost of the workshop is £25.
Our rag rug teacher, Elspeth Jackson, is one of the leading rag ruggers in the country. She is one of the expert teachers at the Knitting & Stitching Show, has had a rag rug book, "Rag Rugs, Pillows & More," published on the subject and is a regular in craft magazines - you'll be in very good hands!
