Kid's Creative Dye & Embellish Workshop (AM)

Description

Come along to this new Kid's family based workshop, adding colour and individuality to a used piece of clothing! This Children's Workshop is to encourage younger people to get creative and reuse a favourite piece of clothing like a cotton T'shirt, hoody or hat even a plain pillow case! Instead of throwing out a faded old or light in colour piece of clothing why not bring it back to life and personalise it using dyes and embellishment creating a non- messy Tie Dye effect! This is a 2 hour workshop for kids 7 years old and upwards accompanied by an adult. Suitable for adults too but another workshop space must be booked. You will need to bring: A washed out cotton T'shirt ( natural fibres & lighter colours work well with dyes) A picture of your cotton T'shirt will need to be sent to us by email prior to this workshop to check suitability Embellishment or ideas otherwise we have lots to inspire you! We can take group bookings All children must be accompanied by an adult

Having experience in teaching Interior Design at a local College she gives confidence and encouragement to even the most uncreative! Our workshops vary from upcycling furniture to reusing fabric. So, for beginners or the more advanced looking to learn a new skill, possibly change direction in work or just want to have some fun we have the course just for you, an escape from everyday life.
