Rug making tufting workshop - Beginners

Description

This beginner-friendly session covers the foundations of rug making, teaching you how to operate a power tufting machine, overviewing the trimming process, and introducing you to various finishing techniques. By the end of this 3.5-hour session, you'll have a comprehensive understanding of rug tufting and a beautiful, handmade rug to call your own. You'll work on a frame that accommodates pieces up to 40 x 40cm, and you're free to choose any design you'd like for your rug. We recommend choosing a design with fewer details for an easier first-time experience. Choosing Your Design: When selecting your design, we recommend simplicity and a maximum of 5 colors for best results. Remember, your design's dimensions can be customized to better suit its shape. Please send us your chosen design at least three days before your workshop date to give us ample time for preparation and setup. We're excited to embark on this creative journey with you! Welcome to Tadatuft – a tufting studio located in the heart of Leeds City Centre. We hold daily workshops, private events and make custom rugs. Our mission is to create a comfortable place for you to gain a new skill and in the meanwhile, to have quality time with your friends/families. We believe everyone has a sense of creativity, with our unique teaching method and guidance, you can turn all your ideas into something meaningful no matter you are the most confident artist or someone who never thought they could make anything. Tufting is indeed a dusty and messy activity, however, it is always satisfying to see something beautiful come out of it :)
