Kantha slow stitch wall hanging

In the studio


Spend a relaxing morning immersed in creating a slow stitched piece of art that will become a wall hanging. You'll be introduced to the the style of Kantha - an ancient form of hand-stitch embroidery originating in India.

Using a variety of textiles you'll layer these together before stitching your pieces in place. Your work will be hung on a small piece of dowel or can be framed at home.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.

What's included in the price?

Light refreshments - coffee/tea and cake is provided. The Fold Cafe on site offers a variety of drinks, cakes and lunches - please check with the cafe via The Fold directly for up to date cafe information.
