More dates will be added in December for next year
This is a hand embroidery, slow stitching workshop for all those people who need to escape from their everyday chaotic life and completely lose themselves in this addictive hobby.
You will work onto a preprinted panel and be guided through all ten stitches, stage by stage. There will be lots of embroidery around the studio to inspire you.
This is suitable for a complete beginner or someone who used to sew but needs a recap, or someone who would like to be confident with a few stitches so that you can design your own creations. At the end of the day you will take away a completed 8 inch square sampler which you could frame, or stitch into a cushion or quilt.
This embroidery course is held at Julie's garden studio near Pershore in Worcester. You’ll always receive a warm friendly welcome and can peruse the enticing boxes of tea stained linen, hand dyed vintage lace, organzas and silks- the list goes on………… Groups are small, and fun!
If you fancy escaping your busy life for a creative day in beautiful surroundings, then this is the place for you.

Thank you for such a wonderful day. I've learned so much, especially "French Knots!". Lovely company, conversation and the most amazing classroom too- so inspiring. Very much looking forward to more classes. You make such a difference. Warmest wishes, Julie
An engaging supportive class held in a delightful setting. I haven't embroidered in over 30 years, and was so pleased to leave the day with work, well underway and the knowledge and confidence to complete. The class was held in Covid times and all the PPE etc was so reassuring. Highly recommend. Thank you.
A lovely slow day, very relaxing and I learned loads, especially how to tie a knot at the end of my thread!
