Hand decorated clayboard brooches / fridge magnets / keyrings play session

Description

A fun, creative session for beginners to craft. We will colour and then decorate a piece of clayboard, which can be finished in several different ways. We will be using alcohol ink, rubber stamps and scratching tools to decorate the clayboard. You can make your clayboard piece in to a brooch, a fridge magnet, a keyring or a pendant. You will go home with a finished item, ready to give as a Christmas or birthday gift, or just keep for yourself! Please note: access to my home studio is by stairs. There is a maximum number of four people on the play session, so you will receive plenty of individual attention and tuition.

All tools and materials are included, just bring yourself! Hot drinks and light refreshments will also be provided.

I’m Carrie, and I’m an artist and art and crafts teacher based in Stanley, north east England. I have been teaching art and crafts since the early 2000s and teach a weekly art and craft workshop in the local area for a social prescribing programme. Through personal experience, I know just how engaging with art and crafts can bring about a wonderful sense of wellbeing and relaxation. I absolutely love passing on my knowledge and the benefits of art and craft for wellbeing. I particularly enjoy teaching absolute beginners, so rest assured, whatever your art and craft experience, I will guide you through the process and make it as enjoyable as I can for you!
